About
Film Synopsis:
Sick Enough follows a young woman navigating the complexities of recovery from an eating disorder after enrolling in a six-month treatment program. Though she willingly enters rehab, Stella struggles to release the very coping mechanism that once gave her a sense of control. When her insurance coverage is suddenly cut off mid-treatment, she’s thrust back into the world unprepared, forcing her to confront the trauma at the root of her disorder. Rather than focusing on the physical symptoms, Sick Enough offers a powerful and unflinching exploration of emotional survival, the lasting impact of abuse, and the failures of the American healthcare system.
